Jordan: Mrigb Al-Fuhud refugee camp

Syrian children enjoy the playground of Mrigb Al-Fuhud refugee camp, also known as Emirates-Jordanian camp, 20 kilometres east of the Jordanian city of Zarqa.

The 10 million US Dollars camp, which has 750 caravans, a hospital, and a school and can take up to four thousand people, first opened in April 2013 and was paid for by the United Arab Emirates. Work is underway to house a total of 20 thousand by the end of the year.
